Queenstown's Skyline Gondola climbs steeply to Bob's Peak for the postcard view over Lake Wakatipu, the town and the Remarkables. At the top are a buffet restaurant and café, the popular luge tracks, mountain-bike trails, stargazing and the launch point for paragliders and bungy.
